Default MREV2 and 5/16" Iso spacer installed on RevUp....Dyno Included

First off, thank you Tony over at Motordyne Engineering. I HIGHLY recommend Motordyne Engineering to anyone. His skills and knowledge are amazing, not to mention what great customer service he provided. Tony installed MREV2 and 5/16" spacer. Pre and post dyno runs. Mods already on the car were Nismo exhaust and Pop Charger. The power gains are definitely noticeable. The car has much more torque now and pulls pretty hard. The exhaust tone seemed to be just a tad bit deeper. WOT is insanely loud. Here are the results.....

Graph looks like 277hp and 263 tq..although upon closer inspection it looks like it may have peaked at 265tq maybe. I know its a Dynapack but still, look at the huge overall increase. MREV2 and 5/16" spacer is definitely worth it.

What were the peak hp differences. Thanks for posting that as well.

Before install 269HP and 243TQ.... after install 277HP and 263.6TQ. Again thats just peak of course. At 4499 rpm there was a 28.3tq gain and at 4497 rpm there was a 25.0hp gain. This is my first time understanding a dynograph so if Im wrong, someone please correct me but thats what it looks like to me.

I agree. The points selected to show gains are a bit misleading:

Torque: Peak torque before install is about is 240 plus.

Horsepower: The two points selected show the most difference between before and after install. Looks like peak gain is about 10 horsepower.

Still impressive though.

Default Thanks a lot...

Put these mods on a few weeks ago, and have to wait another 7 weeks or so before I can even get it out of the garage.
Can't wait to drive mine now.......I'm going nuts

Wow those deltas are even more encouraging than what I've seen before, especially in the midrange; but I'm in the same boat as sheck4.... I live in the Detroit area and the car isn't coming out until the snow and salt are gone!!!

Can't wait.... MREV2 + ISO Spacer have been sitting in the house since December...

Now I just have to decide to go Pop or Not.... I've heard the 06 airbox provides better flow and only needs the K&N drop in....

I had my Dynapack calibrated to the Church dynapack so I could import all my data from Church, put it onto my Dynapack and keep 2 years of dyno herritage consistant.

I actually brought my dyno to Churches, we dynod the same REVUP G35 on both machines. Same gas, same day same everything. The data for both were sent to Dynapack NZ so a new calibration file could be made for my machine.

With the new calibration file all my old Church dynos lined up perfectly with my new dyno.

For all the variation seen on dynos across the country, there are 2 Dynapacks with identical calibrations.

If you want, it may be possible to get a good cross calibration of our 3 machines if you have reasonably similar atmospheric conditions. There are several stock dynos of REVUP engines from dyno days at Church Auto. They all are surprisingly consistant. (approximatly +/- 2HP from eachother)

If you could dyno several stock REVUP engines on your machine under reasonably similar conditions, your plots and Church Auto's plots could be sent to Dynapack NZ for a cross calibration.

Hydrazine
Can you comment on the huge dip after 6K. I know it never really drops below the stock dyno but it's so obvious. It almost seems this combo runs into a flow issue at that rpm. Not enough make it not worth doing the mod as the gains in the overall curve are huge.

Its simply how the runners are tuned to a lower frequency. It wouldn't be possible to get the huge gains everywhere else without it.

In any case it's a much better optimization.

IIRC, the stock HR dyno that everyone saw was an '07 AUTO G35 sedan. I'm sure that would make a difference.
