unichip on 2006 rev up?

Does anyone know if the unichip works on the 06 rev up?

I just bought a slightly used 2006 2 1/2 weeks ago that had an intake and exhaust already on there. I bought it from a dealership and it is a certified used car. The CEL was on when I bought it but they couldn't check it or clear it since it was a Saturday. I thought it wasn't a biggy since it was "certified". I took it back and they replaced the O2 sensor and on the way home from the service dept, the CEL came back. I took it back in yesterday and they found that there is a Unichip installed and is the cause of the CEL. I told them to just leave it on there for now and I will figure out what I want to do.

I went to Unichip's site and found that there is some sort of accessory harness that I need to look for so I can change the map switch. I would hunt for it now but the dealership still has the car. My guess is that it's on the aggressive setting and throwing the CEL.

So this is the question.... on Unichip's site, the same module is used from 03-06. Since the 06 is a rev up (6sp), would this matter since the Unichip isn't supposed to mess with the rev limiter?

And a side note... I have no idea how they can call it a "certified used vehicle" when there are mods on the car that they didn't even know were there!

I think my first concern is what the hell did the previous owner do to the car. If they are saying the vehicle is certified and it had a unichip, you better make sure that they are going to cover your warranty seeing as how you bought the car with that on there. Don't wait till it's too late and find out they want to be rowdy about the warranty terms.

Secondly I'd try and find through public data records who the previous owner was and ask him what all mods he did to the car if you could. Not all used cars have been beaten to death, but If the dealership didn't know what mods were done, then they really have no way of having even a general idea of what condition the vehicle was in.
