MAT or Flow Formed, aligns the crystals so they achieve the strength of forged wheels. Some knock off companies have been manufacturing their wheels in this method. IIRC Enkei developed the process.

T'bo, ever wonder where the name RPF1 comes from?

"Replica Formula 1".

This is essentially the same wheel (in principle and design) of the wheels that Enkei supplies to the Uber-gawddam-rich-supported-by-800-people Mercedes F1 team.

And just to set the record straight, it's not RPF-1, not RPF01, just RPF1.

And here, take a quick look at this Dallara Indycar... see anything familiar?

Yup.

Hope this cures you of your recurring nightmares about wheel failure.

WRT your comment about mesh wheels (in conjunction with your commentary about the supposed-but-total-fallacy-lack-of-strength multi-spoke RPF1s...), well, if those aren't for you, then here's the wheel (only need a pair) for ya...

Hahahahahahahaaaaa.....

Me, I likes me some mesh...

Not forged. Was doing about 45. Hard enough hit I'm actually surprised I didn't blow an airbag.

I was at the St Pete GP this year, and all the Dallara indycars I saw had wheels made by OZ Racing.

i'm really happy with the color combo, and neochrome lugs, but i'll be getting a set that's close ended as i'm paranoid about them rusting
Hey what offset are these? Wheel size? Tire size? This looks absolutely amazing!!!

Before

After

Varrstoen 19" ES2 Machine finish, on staggered 8.5 9.5 set up with NItto 555R series tires.

Went from stock 18" with continental supersports to 19" varrstoens with a more aggressive stagger and an even sportier nitto tire set up. =)

Before, stock rims.

You can get the ES6 19.95 et 12 or 0 to clear brembos. If you order from Varrs, an authorized dealer, or 2/3'rds of this thread, they'll tell you that.

0 offset ES6s don't exist anymore. And the 12/15 offset combo I believe is gone as well.

MOST people who buy Varrs...or wheels that look good, don't track their cars. And, I mean, actual good looking wheels. Not "classic design" or "super functional so that makes it pretty" kind of wheels. Wheels that make you instagram famous or wheels that go on cars with a bunch of "scene" stickers

Did they sell out? I know at the first run, they still made those offsets. Maybe the brembos are becoming a rare option on the Z's nowadays...at least for their market. Seems like they'd need it to open up the market a bit. But whadoiknow. I've never bought any.

I don't want the 12 or 15 offsett because i like to keep my fender liners in and not worry about my fender liner screws

I know that they aren't producing them anymore at this time. I tried to find a 0 offset 9.5/11 setup and it was nowhere to be found. Contacted every vendor and Varrstoen directly. Finally just got the 22/25 and used 20/25mm spacers.

Then, YOU SIR, have a very distinct issue. Either get rid of the brembos or get rid of the fender liner screws. In my opinion, you don't need to do either. If you're worried about fender liners and junk, you're not slamming your car. So, get you some high offsets, get some spacers, don't run truck tires, drive around, love life. #done #uizwelcomes

I worded this wrong. I want to run somewhat meaty tire and be somewhat low. I ordered the es6 in 19x9.5 +22 and 11 +25 ill remove the liner screw to be safe.
