best way to drive in the snow
See the Thread on Chains...
After that..
I Turn the TCS on when on a flat surface or Going Down Hill.
Going Up Hill, You must turn the TCS off. I got stuck half way up a snowy hill when the engin completly cut off adding any fuel. Only way up was TCS off and Low 1st Gear at about 2mph
Slow is the name of the Game. Be Very Carefull. I almost Wrecked Twice today in my Roadster.

I know the best way is not to drive, but if you HAD to, what would be the best way?

Slow and smooth is the way to go....keep it in a low gear, don't make any stupid sudden moves, and you'll be fine. Another important thing is following distance, as you've gotta leave a LOT more space between you and the car in front of you (in case the brakes don't grab quite like you expect them to).
I tried driving out of my underground parking when there was snow on the ground just for fun and I couldn't make it up the exit ramp. So I had to drive backwards back into the garage. If you do get caught in snow with stock tires expect your drive home to be at a slow crawl because almost anything will make the car slide.
I see a couple of folks from NJ and Philly up in here....
Kid Notorious....I have the Base Z as well, and had a job interview yesterday in Philly area yesterday....Interview was at 12:30pm....finished at 3:00 pm (It started snowing around 1:30 pm or so)....Pharmaceutical company was in an industrial park parked on a downslope.....Helluva time going UP the slope.....tires spinning like mad....Just kept her in 1st gear and persistently inched my way up and over the hill.....35-40 MPH or slower on the PA Turnpike ALL THE WAY HOME!
I better get this damn job offer after having endured THAT yesterday!!
Of course, If I do.....I'll get a FWD company car like a Sebring or Grand Prix, so the Z can stay parked when it snows.
