I would never rock an S2K. Main reason, is that I am 6'5" tall, and I simply don't fit. I actually like the looks of some of them when they are done up right.

 

T-o-r-q-u-e makes a BIG difference in our monZters, guy! With less RPMs you get a pocket rocket, VS the S2000. Technical data: MT "Z", 260ft-lbs of torque. With auto tranny, 274ft-lbs!!!

really, i own both. when driven properly the S2000 will outperform the z on most road courses, especially tight courses with alot of turns. i would think the z would do better on the longer tracks/speedways. if you go to redlinetimeattack.com, the S2000 wins pretty consistantly. but i enjoy driving my z in everyday use.

 

GT = grand touring.
The 350 does have more torque, which is why s2000 owners give the 350 the upper hand when shopping for daily drivers. One thing you guys lack that the s2ki guys have is that you guys don't give credit where it's due. I mean just read over the number of posts saying "I will never buy a Honda!", "That thing is a convertible civic!", and so on. There is no "lack of torque" with the s2000 on the track, because you never drop below 6k and you're always making full use of the powerband. Wow guys let the torque statements die, it's getting old. For the record I don't own either so I'm not really biased either.

These "what's better" or "what would you choose" threads are useless and so predictable. It goes without saying that we think the 350Z is a better car because that's what we chose.

 

This Thread has been dead for ages. Thank You to everyone who gave useful information. Just Wanted to update all whom contributed to this thread, by letting you know that I did infact go with the 350Z. I just bought Ryan (Timeattkz)'s car a couple of days ago and trust me, I am loving it. Bottom Line is, if you want a daily driver, go with the Z, if you want a track car, go with the S. Simple as That. Thank You Everyone For Your Help
