Exclamation Beware of seller 350z 7k (Item not as described, partial refund issued)

I purchased an OEM steering wheel from this classified ad:

https://my350z.com/forum/interior/41...ing-wheel.html

-His ebay ID

Item pictured:

Item received:

-Broken clips
-missing plastic caps
-aluminum plate left of airbag was replaced with some pos with missing buttons
-missing torx screw
-steering wheel was loose. Was going to videotape the movement.

Unfortunately, I did not see Jetpilot's feedback until I had already sent payment. I figured even if a steering wheel is not packed too well it would be fine. I guess it doesn't matter if the seller decides to send junk. He did issue a partial refund, but the headache and stress was not appreciated. With my hectic schedule these days, this is the last thing I wanted to deal with. Left him neutral feedback, however he should have mentioned that he was not going to send the item as described.

Too many children have joined the board. No responsibility whatsoever.
Sorry about your problems OP. I'd send you my wheel, but I'd have a little problem driving.
Hope it works out and the butt-crack refunds all of the money.

This is getting bad... The other day I paid for a Element antenna and never got it has been 3 weeks. It's only $12 but it still annoys me that people are willing to scam over sh*t as small as some of this stuff.

OP goodluck

Just a general recommendation. If you use paypal, use your visa/mastercard/amx card. PAYPAL WONT DO ****. But you can and should use your CC company to go after them. I was saved $1500 after paypal said they could not do anything, and I COULD NOT get a hold of anyone in paypal/ebay who would actually speak to me. I said F it. I just let my CC company go after them and I got my money back.

Not to go OT too much, I agree. CC Co's seem to have much more pull (or absorb the loss) much more than PayPal.

Maybe the rules need to change on who can sell? On another Forum I'm on you have to have 350 post before you can sell anything on the site. And, those post have to be relevant content to the forum. Not BS threads.

Or, up the iTrader requirements before you can sell?

Might not be good ideas but something needs to change for the scammers on this site that are popping up every day.
