Default My custom plate (photo)

Finally got my plates and put the custom plate on the car. My wife had bought me the 350Z license plate frame for Christmas, but gave it to me early when she saw me out taking pictures of the new plate.

What do you think of the license plate frame? Normally I don't go for chrome, but it actually looks good on the blue (the color in the photo isn't that great).

Thanks -- here's a close-up showing the frame with the "350Z" markings on it. Tacky, or cool? I kinda like it, but I am wondering if there aren't already too many "Z" logos all over the car.

Tacky IMO, but as long as you like it, that's all that really matters.

I *still* can't decide on a plate that's not already taken in NY!

Hey Chris - Zbart and I missed you today in Santa Rosa.

I'm kind of fond of the no frame look....but congrats on the plate!

Damn! You can't get those inmates to do quality work in the license plate department in California, can you?!?

They can't center worth ****.

There is no way to center "03 Z" because there are seven spaces to fill: there has to be either one space at the start and two at the end, or vice versa. You can't just say "center this text": you have to fill in these seven boxes on the form. I asked the lady at the DMV what to do to get it centered the best, but she couldn't help me at all. (I could have had two spaces in the middle, but I thought that looked kind of dumb.)

z350z, if you're really dedicated, handy, and the alignment bothers you, you can just make your own plate. Nobody would care since it still says the same thing

You guys still have "live" DMV workers?

I know what you mean, it seems you have to pull at them for any help. In North Carolina, we have 8 letters for the plate. Guess this is why I see our plates centered. Shame, really.

"03Z" would be centered. But I guess you wanted the space.
