2005 Base SB for $25,200.
Alright, so my 2004 Base Black was found with 2 scratches before I close the deal. So the dealer offers me a 2005 Base, Super Black for $25,200 + 6% tax + tag + dealer fee + some local taxes, all come out to $27,400 even for the OTD. Car only comes with mats, travel net. that's all. NO kick plates. What do you guys think?? I am so tempted to get the 2005, but if i get the 2004 car, my interest will be only 2% APR. and if i get 2005, my interest will be 3.95% APR. decision decision....is it worth to get the 2005 with an almost double interest rate guys?? inputs please

Is this interest rate difference on financing through the dealership? If so, sounds like they're trying to make their money back on a sweet deal by adding points to your financing.
My advice, if that's the case: find a loan somewhere else and pay them cash for the sweet deal.

Looks like a great price. Invoice price on the base is $24,786 so $414 over invoice sounds very good to me. As far as the interest goes... well depends how long you going to pay this loan. If you can find a better rate in the back you can always get it and payoff this one but 4% loan is not that bad, just make extra principal payments if you can and you will be fine, plus you going to have an '05, which will worth more in 2 years then an '04. If I were you I would jump on this deal. In fact that's just about how much I would pay for the car over invoice.
I'd get a 2004.5 Enthusiast before 2005 base.
But if it's between 2004 base @ 2.0% and 2005 base @ 4.0%.. I'd go 2005 base. 2% extra is about $1,250 over the life of a 60 month loan which comes out to.... drum roll... twenty bucks more a month!
