Then why are you driving a Nissan?

Good luck getting your car fixed, but more importantly: cool your nerves, and stop driving like an impatient d!ckhead. I was driving on the interstate when an impatient driver such as yourself cut me off, which resulted in a traumatic 80MPH impact with a guard rail, the loss of my first Z, and nearly the loss of my life. Use your head next time...!

You just don't get it do you? It's not her responsibility to get out of your way! It's YOUR responsibility to stop for the damm RED LIGHT!!!

Your arrogance is binding you to the fact that you or someone else could have been killed. This is not some stupid game that your rich daddy can get you out of.

This is a community of for the most part, responsibile enthusiasts. We're not here to make you look stupid. We're trying to HELP you. Please learn from your mistake and drive respnsibly.

Default I was on the receiving end...

...of a red-light runner in my newly-inherited 1984 300ZX 50th Anniversary model in 1988. My dad had recently passed away and I got his pride and joy. The other gentleman (Ford pickup) apparently "thought he could make the light." My Z was a total loss; his pickup was driveable, so he drove it away before I could get his license number. Hit and run. Never found him.

I was all dressed up for church; standing there in the middle of the intersection. Funny thing - the first vehicle I flagged down was a father and son who declined to help me "because they'd be late for church." Nothing like Good Samaritans...

Man I hope you're being sarcastic. Otherwise you've lost all sympathy, and whatever respect you might've had.

By the way, drive defensively. If you're running a light, the onus is on you to stop, not on her to get out of your way. Unfortunately, neither of you were driving defensively.

I don't believe you think it is the girls fault. I hate spoiled people that think. "Oh, I have money, money solves everything." I dispise people like that and can't take responsibility for their own actions. And then you have the NERVE to F***ING BRAG about how bad you beat up her car?!?! You could have traumatized if not seriously injured or killed her.

If you ever come barreling through an intersection and t-bone me, you better pray to god you die on impact because you will be before the ambulance gets there.

Dude that young girls parents are gonna pwn your @ss in a short amount of time. You might give her 4k? Bahahahahah, think its gonna be more like a good amount of the money you have when their lawyers are done with your @ss. Btw your insurance company will already know due to the police report that probably was filed.

Prepare to be pwned, you dead beat loser.

I know this thread starter doesn't represent all Z owners but unfortunately his attitude and behavior does reflect on all of us. It's when I read submissions like, or worse, see a Z driver on the road driving like this guy that I think I should have bought a Volvo.

And why in the world would you want to pay for both cars repairs out of pocket? Are you not fully insured?

What are you going to do if she sues you? Last accident I was in I felt ok until I got home. One night in the hospital and the recovery cost the ahole an additional $18k in damages.

One night cost you $18k???

Come on. That sounds ridiculous, did they have you a life support for that night or what?

Forget how much the overnight was... It was not cheap at all. Plus that was just the beginning. I had a serious spinal strain that required about 6 weeks of physical therapy. Add to that medication, pain and suffering, lost wages (I was out of work for 3 weeks) etc, etc, etc.

Usually the hosipital does not fix you up 100% before a discharge. In my previous post pay attention to the phrase "and the recovery".

btw. That was an out of court settlement as well.

Perhaps the parents and girl you hit would be interested to read the things you have said here. It would not be to hard to do a little research and find who you hit and where this accident occured.

That is not a 40 mph crash,

I smell a cow taking a dump! Also as a Z driver, I am ashamed you are driving a Z. People like you give us a bad name, MAN!
