Which member have NOT received a car yet?
It great to see all the members getting their car. For the rest of us, the wait continues...
1) When do you expect it?
2) Last four digits of vin number
3) Pre-order/ not pre-order
4) When did you order.
Next my350z first would be the first 'Non-preorder' to receive their car. I guess this is like the N.I.T. in college basketball.

1. I expect it around April, but my dealer promises by February. 
2. I don't have a VIN yet.
3. Not a preorder.

5 months turn around
Ordered in mid october - expecting deliver in march
Dealer had a superblack touring 6mt exactly how i wanted it sittin on the floor, but I'm goin brickyard. Not to mention, I live in minnesota and I wouldn't drive it in snow, so better for me to wait 5 months for a bigger downpayment

1. Expected delivery date to dealer approx. 12/12/02 according to confirmation letter from Nissan.
2) 5449
3. Not pre-order
4) Order placed 9/5/02

Wow that's fast. They gave you a confirmation letter? I thought only pre-orders got the letter. Was this order through a dealer?

1.) I don't know when to expect it. The sales rep sheet said November 2nd...well, that came and went. NNA said Nov-Dec. The dealer print out says December delivery. NNA said my car would be at the dock on or around Oct. 28. Not sure how long it takes to get things moving from that point.
2.) 005522 (I included all 6 digits of the serial portion of the VIN, since it appears some people have a 1 in the first spot - I don't know how that correlates to the other numbers).
3.) I preordered and was given an order number of W180156.
4.) I signed my preorder sheet and gave the dealer the deposit on March 9th. I think they actually got around to sending my sheet in sometime in June or July.

I think it was stated in another forum that the 1 and 0 meant you either ordered or did not order side air bags.

I ordered my Z through Carmax in Maryland, event though I live in Virginia. I have no idea why I got a letter from Nissan. My salesman called me last week with my VIN number and a few days later I got a letter from NNA stating that my car was on the ship as we speak. They also gave me the complete VIN and ETA.
If all goes well, I guess I'll be getting one hell of a christmas present this year!
I guess I'll have to let my husband buy that receiver he wants for our TV!

3) Pre-order/ not pre-order.....Pre-Order I have until 11/13 to pick my color. Then they will place the orders together.
4) When did you order. I went down to the dealer to order 10/9/02. It won't be sent until 11/13.

along the same line.....
Talked last week to a friend who picked up his Black Z last month. He made the comment, "I ordered it last February when they gave previous Z owners first choice." Is this so? I can't believe it since up until 2 year's ago I owned a 1974 Z. I never received any previous owner advanced order opportunity information from Nissan. Anyone heard this story?
