it can be bad, especially if you just started it because the oil is all in the pan.
If you just got back from a drive, it should not hurt the engine, even up to redline, I believe, but I wouldnt hold it there... its silly.

Answ) (My Opinion) Yes. It will prematurely wear the engine. You are not using the power to move the car so its pointless but to show off that sound. The stock ECU has a redline set in its not supposed to overrev.

Do what???
Revving the engine while it's warmed up, is easier on an engine than if you're putting a load on it!
Much like walking down the street, which is easier... with or without a heavy satchel?!?!?

You'll be fine, rev and enjoy! Since I installed the Tilton, everyone and their fathers want to get in and rev it.
