Don't use a coin operated car wash vac. 1) you can be electrocuted, they are grounded but are not wet vacs. 2) it ruins the filter bags and can short a motor. Use only a wet/dry type vac.
I own a car wash and have fools sucking water all the time and it can kill you.

Check with dealer's service dept. Some cars have electronic modules under the seat. Don't know if tht's true for the Z. If electronics get soaked, you could be in for some serious problems down the road.

Damn Jim... That sucks!!! I have the injen CAI, but I know the water levels of every puddle I drive through on my commute.

Wow... looks like A LOT of people had a problem with rain recently huh? I feel so sorry for you guys...having to walk outside only to see your car about to float down the street.

Weather has been insane the last few days here in LA
it never ever rains and then when it finally does
New rivers were formed

sorry to hear about the damaged Z's

Mine is tucked away until the sun comes back out

Go to Home Depot and get a Dessicant kit. It is basically like the silca gel packets you find with some foods or electronics and it absorbs moisture like a charm. It is pretty cheap to.

Dang, sounds like weather was pretty crazy while i was away from LA. Hope it gets sunny soon... i haven't driven for a month.
