Question Member Advice:Am I in Lemon Law Territory

I am on my 3rd Transmission and I have feathering for the first time on my new front tires. (245 width)
I am experiencing some more tranny symptoms and looks as if I MAY BE NEEDING A 3RD REPLACEMENT.
Other Issues:
When I get a Car Wash my feet get wet inside the car near the pedals.
My Hazards no longer work
Almost like a distant whistle sound in 6th above 80mph.

I have a great relationship with my dealership.
They always have the tranny replaced within a couple days and have aloaner waiting.
What would you guys do in my shoes?

P.S> I am at 34K miles and almost out of warranty. Although I do believe the powertrain is covered until 60K.

Do you guys believe I have a strong case for a lemon lawsuit? Estimates ($) for court costs/lawyer?

Thanks,

Tom

As far as the water getting in I dunno....could have been 2 things:
1. Dealer Detail w/engine steaming
2. Custom Stereo Install

But that is just one of the many problems right now. I love my ride and would just get a new Z. What do you guys think I should do? Is this worth going to court over or should I just keep letting the dealer fix things?

If they cut thru your firewall to run any wiring for the stereo and did not seal it right that could cause leaking.

Tom, I have this whistle noise on my car too at the same situation and, my car is only 3 months old. Does anyone know if it's normal?
Oh, btw, the whistle noise only occurs when the gas pedal is pressed or the car is on cruise.

Sounds like a Lemon if you ask me, 3 times and the tranny still goes out. I would file a Lemon Law Claim if it was me.

BTW, where do you go? I was on vacation in Goodyear and went to Avondale NIssan. Thye seemed nice when they were servicing my Maxima. They had 10 Z's on the lot, mainly auto's though.

Are you real hard on your tranny? What was the mileage on all 3?

I go to Nissan of Scottsdale
Im not hard on the trannys.
1st tranny around 11K
2nd 18K
3rd-34K (this is my latest one that will soon be replaced)

How hard is it to pull off this lemon law thing?

Wonder what that whistle is all about?

Well, They couldn't put up much of a fight about a lemon law if their willing to keep replacing it.

Each state has its own Lemon Laws, there are lots of websites that explain how it works. Generally, you have to go through arbitration first. I've never done it, but I hear that it's a real pain. Good luck.

Even if it takes a week of constantly being in a small room...if it gets you a brand new car I'd do it!
