I've heard that reception stinks with these....people actually buy the Honda's s2000 antenna...it looks alot better and reception is just as good as the OEM Z's.

I have the Silver short style one that I bought at Courtesy and the reception isn't as good as with the OEM.

From what people have told me, anything smaller or different than stock gets you worse reception.

What is the fascination with the S2000 antenna on a Z? I really cringe when I see that on Z's. I think the OEM antenna looks best IMO.

That's funny. The OEM Z antenna just looks wrong to me. It's like huge. and skinny. I got my S2000 antenna ASAP. It actually works just as good as OEM, and IMHO I think it's a mod that completely changes the look of the Z for the least money (like 27 something with tax).
