Check them out too. It seems to me that they cover more items than the factory Nissan Waaranty.

Will "warranty direct" be around in two, three or ten years? Nissan will be. Also must dealers will not do any work up front with after market service plans unless you pay for it. Then you have to get the money yourself. Never will you have this problem with nissan.

"SecureCare Plus is the most comprehensive car warranty that you can buy. This top of the line program most closely resembles the manufacturer's warranty on your vehicle. It provides true bumper to bumper protection. "

I copied this from that website, notice how it says "closely" resembles the manufacturer's warranty, hmmm, and it cost 400+ more than a true Nissan Plan.

Sorry if its a little late in the game, but seeing what everyone paid, looks like we paid too much.

CJ2pilot seeing as your in the biz(Hope your still around here), or to anyone who knows, would it be possible to cancel our existing 6yr gold plan and then repurchase the same or a 7yr later? before the factory warranty runs out? or at least in a year or 2? its also under the 60 day pro rate thing, Z is little over month old.

And also would canceling this affect our Gap insurance in anyway, im thinking it shouldnt but?

Thanks in advance.

Yes you can cancel and re-buy. If you buy in the first 12 months 12,000 miles you will be fine, after that point you will pay a surcharge until you reach 36 months or 36,000 miles which ever comes first. I can still give everyone here $100.00 over cost on any nissan plan. Oh, you're fine on the gap if you cancel.

Forgive me if you guys already answered this, but I have the 100k extended warranty. If I trade my car for a different car, I can first get refund on the warranty?, or be deducted from my loan?
Thanks!

We just called Nissan (1-800-NISSAN1) today to cancel it, no problem at all.

I paid way too much for my 75k plan. I would like to cancel and buy it again from CJ2pilot. Since I am past the 12/12000, how much surcharge will it be for me -- I am now at 15/23000.

How does the prorate work if I cancel the warantee? I now have about 23k miles. Warantee is upto 75k. I am just figuring out if it is still worth it for me to cancel or not.

at least if you go to sell your z, the extended warranty will be a good selling point. Same security of buying from the dealer, without the mark up.ie add on costs.

The new owner will still have to pay a transfer fee and most people just get the refund.
