Default 350Z Buttonwillow lap times! (Coming Soon)

Going to Buttonwillow once again next week. This time I am going to run timing on my car (as provided by speedventures so no cheating). I think the best benchmark I can use is the S2K here on street tires that turned a 2:16.3 sec lap in this configuration. See here:

https://www.speedventures.net/track_...&results=&s=lt

I'll try not to embaress us!! LOL

How long is Buttonwillow? (I'm too lazy to do the calculations)

Race configuration 1 is just shy of 3 miles long. I think it's like 2.97 miles.

Let us know what the optimum tire pressures are on the track, for the car.

Optimum tire pressures will vary depending on what temperature the track is...

You tracked your Z a while ago, if my memory is correct. How did the brakes and tires hold up? I bet a set of sticky tires and racing pads will make the car amazing. Let us know how you do!

Brakes held up great even though I was running heavy with a passenger all day. Tires were fine also, GForce TA's would be better and race tires even better, but my goal is to see what it can do bone stock.

The sad thing is the 911 Turbo Running 2:22's!! I was running that fast in my 138hp Spyder on street tires (S03's).

I don't know anything else about that S2K that ran a 2:16 accept that it did it on street tires. I am hoping to equal that time.

Ooops, I have to requalify my previous lap times, it was on configuration #13, slightly different using the sweeper instead of the SFM hairpin.
