my sisters car this morning said -31 degrees. her screen on her cell phone cracked when she left it in the car for a few hrs for class.

she lives in upper minnesota.

i thought i had it bad here in MI where the high today was like 10

 

its a whopping 80F out here, damm im cold

anyone out there from embarass, minnesota???? heard where either last night or maybe its expected for tonight, but they are talking about a low temperature of:

-57 degrees.

It was -9 with the wind chill this morning. I heard plenty of stories of people getting their car doors frozen shut.

 

Never had seat heaters before.....man, they're nice!

 

Oh, so thats what theyre for, for you guys...lol

And Ive always thought "what a useless option," except for pulling pranks on friends occasionally.......and girls (who ALWAYS seem to be cold even in 80 degree weather). Thanks for clearin that mystery up for me.

 

I didn't realize I had heated seats til 3 days ago. God they feel so good.

My car read 15 this morning, and that's already too cold for me, but I am real lucky of not having -9F, huh!

 

i have seen icy twice, both when going to vegas 2 weekends ago. once when it was snowing and a second time when i was in vegas it was freaking cold there. Thats it

In Southern MN we had lows of -20F air temp (well below -30F with the wind chill) for 3 or 4 nights last week.

 

We have this sales rep up in Minnesota who I talk to once in a while. Well, a few weeks ago the weather 'dropped' to about 38 degrees F at night here in Los Angeles. So the next day he calls and asks me how i'm doing and I tell him that i'm trying to stay as warm as possible and that it's been freezing here lately. So I tell him my god awful story about how the weather dropped to below 40 degrees and he started laughing his a** off at me. His reply: "You guys down south are all WIMPS!".

After reading your posts I see what he means.
