Default Problem Programming Homelink

Any one having a problem programming the Home link to Marantec opener.

I cant get the Home link to pick up the code.
I am pressing both buttons and after about 2 minutes the Home link light just stops.

Wtih some models of door openers you need to get up on a ladder and press a button on the garage door opener itself first, and then do the procedure you're already doing.

Go to homelink.com for troubleshooting tips. The site should also have a compatability table.

Yeah I think that's the kind I have, a "roaming remote", but if you press a button on the opener itself it trains the remote somehow.

My parents just installed a new Genie GDO and I had to press a button on the GDO to get Homelink to work with it last time I was home. The little instruction card that came with the car has more information.

I have a genie with the rollIng code software. All you have to do is push the button located on the garage door opener and within 30 seconds finish the last programming step.

READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!!

yeah, that would be simple if they had those instructions in the Z manual in the first place. and since i am renting this house i had no way of knowing this until i went to the homelink page and found this information out. the last part of your post was both very rude and very stupid. comments like that need to be kept to yourself, especially if you do not know the whole story

They are not in the manual but, they did come with the car in the same zip-up carrier that contains the manual. Either way, now you know so just say thank you and move on.

i got the homelink instructions with my car, it is in the manual. was just very fuzzy when it came to these intellicode systems, not much was on the subject. like i said i found the info i wanted on the homelink page, it got into alot better detail on what exactly to do. still was no reason to be rude about it or be a di0ck with the READ THE INSTRUCTIONS comment, or the stupid rolleyes you just posted.

ok, maybe i was wrong about that last comment, but two wrongs do not make it right. this site is to help other people, not belittle them for overseeing something like that. if you can not understand that you must be in the wrong place. i do not see you posting those rolleyes on anyone elses post that asks a question so to me this is a personal attack and has been reported as so. again have a nice day.
