Track Wheel Change?
Had a new track wheel ordered to replace an older existing track wheel on an '03 Z and for some reason the new wheel doesn't matchup with the original ones I have on the car. Has Ray's changed the finish on their wheels for the 350z track?
I dont know what to do now. I'm thinking of taking it back to the dealership the wheel was ordered from and show them that it doesnt match with my other wheels.
I have 20k on my car .. do you think that this makes a noticable difference when compared to a brand new wheel?

Were both wheels cleaned? Maybe you just need to polish up your 3 old ones with a good wax job. Lets see some pics. I haven't heard that the finish changed.

I would think that the wheel color shouldnt change that much. Ive had the car for exactly 1 year.
The difference in color is subtle but you can tell that the new wheel does look different then the older one. It might be a finish difference more then a difference in color. The new wheel seems to have a thicker clearcoat finish on it giving it a more shiny appearance.

They weren't exactly that much darker, but the finish was definetly more shiny on these. Weird how they could have different shades. Im wondering if environment and age changes the color of these a lot over time.
But you would think if you payed $1500 for a wheel, that the wheel would match.

I could have sold you (4) Track Wheels and the Tires for the price you paid for (1) Wheel. BTW, they are still for sale, e-mail me for info.
