Like the title said "Has anyone on this forum traded in their Z for another Z" If you have what was the milage on your old and new z and the cost?

 

I am currently wondering if I should trade mine in.
Here is some of the pro/con discussion ( alas w/o any hard numbers).

I traded my 03 z touring for an 05 z touring roadster. I had 7,000 miles on my 03 and I sold it for 26,500. My 05 caused me 36,623 after tax, titling and tags. The roadster is loaded and I got it at 1% above invoice. The sticker price was 39,995. Believe me there is a big difference in the two. First the clutch is 100% better and that goes for the bose system also. And you know that streaking drivers side window, that no matter how hard you tried to clean it that it just would not remove that streak. It is fixed on the 05. The 05 does not have the same minor problems that my 03 had. My advice is to try sell your car first,because the dealer is definitely going to attempt low ball you on your trade in. I am sure that you know this already.

 

Traded my 03 enthusiast for an 05 enthusiast I got $22,000 and paid $30,500 ( I paid $500 extra for the color )10,000 miles on my trade in and 4 miles on my 05.

 

Can you tell the difference between the bose system in the 03 vs the 05.
