does a heavier shift **** make for better feeling shifts?

if you run too heavy a ****, it can damage your transmission, newbie.

ya, between my factory one and the super-lightwt nismo black ball i'm using now, the extra weight of the stock **** did make shifting a bit easier, but then again, the nismo is shorter which decreases throw a little. Overall, the added wt does feel better, and i wish my nismo weighed more.
