I was checking on my pre-order and the lady I spoke to wanted to know which color I had ordered. When I said "Daytona Blue" she obviously couldn't help herself. Mentioned that one had been in their parking lot last week and how stunning it looked. We talked for a while. You could really hear the enthusiasm in her voice. I suspect the Z is going to be a shot in the arm for all those involved in building it, selling it, maintaining it and driving it.

This Z phenomena just keeps growing and growing and growing...

I wonder if Daytona Blue still only represents 5% of the pre-orders as it did on the April stat sheet from Nissan. Now that it has been seen, I'd wager that the percentage is higher. It would be nice if Nissan would put out the final pre-order stats now that the program has ended.

 

BTW: The lady I spoke to implied the following:

"...I'm sorry sir, but after your wife has driven the car, the only way you will ever get her out of it is to buy her a Z convertible." Now tell me if that aint great marketing.

Just a warning to you guys out there. Keep the keys hidden.

 

i am so glad i ordered a blue one!!..i hate silver cars..no offense to anyone that got a silver one of course...p.s. my girlfriend cant drive a standard so she will have to be contenet in the passenger seat
