Default Would you be happy or mad

To make a long story short. . . I ordered an entusiast Z December 13th thinking it would be here in about 90 days in time for spring. They found one sooner, here where I'm not sure what happens next, I looked at it today and saw it was dirty but I dont know if it was because of a test drive they had to take, or from being drivin over from another dealer. Anyways, I'm picking up the Z on tuesday but when I was looking at it today I noticed it has an aero package and I didn't order that. Its cool that the car has it because I'm not being charged, but its not something I asked for. Still I dont know how to feel.

Would you be happy to ge the Z early with a free aero kit, but knowing it was drivin to some extent (I know some jackass might have had fun driving it but I'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt). Or would you be upset that they didn't just wait and have one delivered and pick it up the day it got to the lot?

BTW my dealer offers free oil changes for the life of the vehicle. I was surprised, do a lot of dealers do this?

if they drove it down instead of flatbedding it from another dealer. i hope you are not expecting the driver to drive it by the break-in speed limit or taking it easy on it. so they offered you the free aero + free oil change for life? something to think about man...

I would not purchase a vehicle that has a few hundred miles on it. I can't believe that some dealers are driving brand new cars from one lot to another. Value drops, and they could have always used a semi to haul the Z to you.

I would be happy with the free upgrade, unless you do not want a spoiler period. Most likely when they installed the spoiler, they drilled holes in the rear deck. Might not want those if you don't like spoilers on the Z.

Dude.. I used to work at a dealer. Driving cars from lot to lot is not uncommon. I would take the car and be happy w/ the free stuff your getting. That car w/ only 4 miles on it, who knows it may have been driven hard. And the value between a 4 mile car and 50 mile car is negligable as long as its new. Crap, a dealer demo is considered a new vehicle when its sold and those have 3k miles on them.

As long as there is only a few miles on it, I would be happy!

I only got a tank of gas and a car wash with mine

I got mine with about 23 miles on it, and I never had any problems. And you should be happy with the free aero package.

Mine was driven 126 miles from Englishtown, NJ to the dealership I bought it from in upstate NY. I had no issues, though I was kind of learly about someone driving my car that far.

The Z will be a different story. If they track one down, I will have it trucked to the dealer or it will be ordered, so no one else can drive one.

I have seen "new" (not demo) cars with as many as 700 miles... I don't know how they get people to buy those.

If I want a new car, I pay for a new car, and I expect it to be NEW with 10 mi or less. If I pay for a demo (discounted from new) or an used car, I would accept higher mileage. Sounds like you may be getting kind of a "demo". The aero package and free oil changes are the equivalent of the discount.
Getting the Z early - yes, I would be happy.
