living frugally, wise real estate investments, and alot of hard work. everything paid for myself. There's nothing you can't get if you work smart and work hard.

I pay for everything myself, I am a manager for a well established new car franchise of dealerships.

Engineer... I wanted to go to grad school but starting salaries are so insane I couldn't resist. Now I have to make my Z payments so I can't go back to school hehe. I may go back after I have worked for 2 years by then I should have enough to float the payments for two years and pay for school since I save about 30% of my pay check every month.

I work 40-60 hours per week for a telecommunications company. Money is ok there, but the most important thing is to know what you can afford and how to handle your money. I made sure i was able to make the payments before i took the financial blow. Also not going out to eat, going to the theaters, etc. etc. I sacrificed a bit.

Damn I feel old then I was 27 when I got my 350Z. Then again they didn't have the 350Z when I was 22 or the 300ZX wasn't around either since killed off at that time.

apartment.. alone... housing is relativly cheap around here when compared to your area. I can only save so much b/c I am single and not dating at the moment. I have money taken from my pay check that goes into investments and 401k and the rest I spend all but about $200 of it. If (scratch that WHEN) I start dating I expet I will have to save less.

why are so many people bitter on young people being able to afford expencive cars
i mean some people are smart enough to get a good job and work hard at it, just cause we are under 25 doesnt mean we dont work hard, and are good at our jobs

using the saying mommy and daddy paid for it......
even if that is the case, who cars at least those people have parents who care enough about there kids to buy them a nice car.
im sure the ones who parents helped out, are not spoiled ********* who dont deserve it, they must be doing something right if there folks are doing that for them,

exactly if parents have money why WOULDN'T they get their kids a nice car. My parents are the kind of people who don't spend a lot on their cars so it was never even an option for me to drive a nice car when they bought me one... it is sometimes annoying when I see my friends who are still in college/high school driving better cars than me but thats life.

Yeah.. same here. My parents are fairly wealthy, but dear god, if my father doesnt earn a decent return on something, he wont put a penny into it. Now considering the average car depreciates around $5000 a year.. you can imagine what he thinks of automobile purchases.

Although with that said, he'll down a $500 bottle of wine without even thinking about it. What an *******

lol.. anyhow, needless to say, anything I drive needs to be self supported

Your parents are smarter than most! My kid is going to be driving a bucket no matter how much $$ I have.
