Has anyone ever had a bee fly in with the window down?
First day I got my old car back from a 3 month long engine build I rolled down the window and a bew flew in and landed on my neck. Luckily I grab it in time threw it on my seat and smashed it with my fist.

I had a grasshopper jump in through the window and land on the dash right in front of my face, and then he was looking at me and wiggeling from side to side like he was going to jump on my face!!! I freaked out and almost ran off the road!!<-- I guess I never really got over my traumatic childhood experince with a grasshopper!

When I was about 4 or 5 my cousin who was probably 7 or 8 at that time caught a grasshopper and did some really cruel mutilations to it. Even when I think of it today 23 years later I still get the the chills.

Thats not a nice thing to say!
You're mean
!! I can think of a couple of names for you too!!
As long as it's not raining, I crack my windows at least 3" or so. The warmer it is, the farther down my windows go. Although I don't like them down all the way....I wanna show off my tint.
I do it to hear the exhaust (stock). I just love it and it's not loud enough with the windows up.

I'm not big on opening my windows, I never really liked wind blowing in my face when I'm trying to drive, plus the sound of the wind blocks out the warbly exhaust note
. How many people here find themselves turning down the radio to listen to the engine? I love how this car sounds!

I hardly EVER listen to radio/CD in my Z. Thats why I don't care about any audio "system". I must hear that sweet exhaust. Also helps because I drive the 6MT by the sound of the revs, not looking at the tach. I'll save the system for my 95 corolla dx 105 hp POS daily driver. I don't want to hear that thing.
DRIVERS WINDOW DOWN! Music off.

That's funny I thought I was the only one with this problem. Now i know im not crazy. I love to drive with the windows down, even when it rains I try to put it down. hahahahah

Z windows down suck when its raining. You get wet. I think all nissans suck with windows down during rain due to the design the rain falls right on you. I always think its going to short out the power window switch but I still need windows down. I had other cars that I could drive with the widows down in the rain and not get wet at all.

Then I turn it back on once I'm cruising.
Yeah, The rare occasions I have it on, gotta shut it off for the downshift to a red light and then when the light turns green, take off till cruising. Then I can turn it back on, drink my coffee and smoke a cigarette. Yeah, I smoke in my Z. Got a problem with that??
I've noticed I get more (favorable) comments about the car when the windows are about halfway down. I've wondered if this is because when they are in this position, that they might add an "accent" to the shape or flow of the roofline (which I think is rather unique).
