hey all im a noob so sorry if this is a topic thats ben beat to death but heres my situation. I currently own a 04 rsx-s ans i was thinking of trading it in for a Z. my question is if i can get a base for only 20500 with low miles would it be worth it or should i try and get an enth. would it just be cheaper to buy the hids and lsd or not thanxs for the help.

 

Don't forget the cruise control, TCS, and aluminum pedals you will also be missing out. In my mind the extra money for the Enthusiast is well worth it.

 

I'm basically in your situation too. That's a pretty good price for a base, but how many miles? What year? I'm trying to stay away from an '03 because it seems that the feathering issue gets better with the years. If you look at what a used '04 base or enthusiast will cost, it's really not that much different ($1k-$2k) than what you'd pay for a new one. I'm pretty much settled on an '05 Enthusiast and I plan to pay no more than 27k for it. I agree that the Enthusiast is worth the money for the upgrades. IMO it's the best value for the options out of all the models.

 

Get the Enthusiast.

 

Even if you have to hold out for a few months to gather up the extra cash, I'd go with something other than the Base. The LSD and HIDs are just too nice to not have.

 

the base doesnt have cruise control well thats kinda gay. but thanks for the help i guess i'll look around a little more for the enth.
