New idea...make a vinyl sticker that says what you want on it.

 

If you keep it to the lower right hand side of the dash you should be OK. I have seen it there on several cars. If you look closely you can see where the dash tears on airbag deployment.

I would concur. Better to be safe than sorry.

 

If you put it on then accept the possibility when you get into a fiery car accident, your friend could have her throat slit by the Z as the air bag deploys and pierces her larynx and you come out of the coma 3 years later paralyzed, realizing what you have done. Then you come to a thought as you look at your amputated leg and wish you could have done things differently by not putting on the badge.Now you have the oppurtunity to go back in time and change everything by not putting the badge in the first place. Then you all live happily ever after.

What I meant to say is don't put it on.

Side note.
I hate to see pics of a car like that. Makes you wonder who was driving and if they are ok.
*Minor observation* The sunglass holder is down. Does that mean the driver was reaching for his sunglasses cause the sun was in his eyes and crashed?
