I rarely look at either speedo, unless of course, I'm being followed by a cop.

I always use DIGITAL as my primary speed reading. Analog is my secondary and I love the combination.

DIGITAL
-much easier to know exactly what rate of speed you are at.
-located a bit higher for better visibility as I drive and check my speed simultaniously

ANALOG
-I love to see the tach move up higher and higher =)

I think it's PERECT combination. The s2k is digital and I cannot stand it not having an electronic tach.

With the z you have best of both worlds.

i use both because they disagree by about 1-2 mph. So I always feel i have to average them.

is this discrepancy normal, by the way? Analog will say 75 while digital says 73-74. NOt like its a huge deal, but I am always working to keep BOTH below 75 so that I'll only get a 2-point ticket if a cop ever decides to nail me for 9 mph over the limit. If I lock in the cruise at 74, according to the digi, then its reading 75 by the analog dial (a 4-point ticket).

I use digital. I can't freaking see the Analog unless I tilt my head.

Digital. It's just so damn convenient to see the # as opposed to couting the hash marks to determine how fast I'm going. Plus, it's higher up so I can glance at it easier than the analog.

And yes, the tach should always been front and center in a sportscar.

ditto on the digital. I can't see the analog past 40mph unless I slouch to the left side. I thought it was just my car.

Digital 90% of the time but I do like to watch the needle shoot up when I get on it keeping an eye out for the redline.

The digital speedometer is the reference speed, which is not the same as the true speed that the analog displays. The difference is usually small, but if you are counting on any speedometer being within 1 mph of a cop's radar, I have some ocean front property in Montana to sell you.

digital, although, when I am accelerating fast, the analog is more accuarate. It takes a split second for the digi to catch up.
