That is so freakin ugly .... why do people do that crap to nice looking cars.... all you need to change with the body work is a bigger front bumper for the front mount intercooler for more breathing area

99.9% of the mods done to that car are "bling bling" mods. Still, if you like it, thats a very decent asking price compared to the work that went into it.

Problem is that is not the asking price. That's just start of bid price. There's a reserve price on the car.

First off I will leave my opinions on the car out of this and offer my $.02 about buying modded cars.

I have paid out the AS_S to make sure all of my mods were done to my anally retentive standards....I know that I sat thru every install making sure my car came out as perfect as I imagined it....NOT to say this car didn't have the same care put into it but you just don't know....I say it's worth it to spend money and make sure that everyting meets or exceeds you expectations. Not everyone takes pride in their work.....and for that I would hate to see someone (esp. in the Z community) be upset with a pre-modded car when we have a group of members as willing to help out one another as this one.....

Put a different front bumper on and I'll take it. LOL
That bumper is god-awful! But the rest of it looks pretty good to me. Nice side skirts, rear bumper, spoiler is a little big but still ok, loving the doors.

I want to get those doors soooo bad but am in a total loss to even try to find a shop that would do a good job. Not to mention the body modification that some people say they need to go through.

I'm not sure it looks all that great in yellow, though with different wheels it would be fine. Something more along the lines of Axis Milanos. It's a bit odd that the kit was put on when the car was new (as well as the shift ****, wheels, leather, etc.), since modding the car is 1/2 the fun.

That said... some people like the kit (and by some people I mean me and anyone who has ever seen it in person). The fact that everyone doesn't like it doesn't bother me though. It's not for everyone.

I have the VErtical Doors INC kit on my car.....to say that they are impractical is actually incorrect.....they match the practicality of a sports car perfect....I mean you get a Z for the feel of teh car and the joy it brings...and you only like it more when it throws people for a loop when they see you get out. They still open 25 degrees to get out normally if you should so desire.....about the KIT.....if you like it get it...that the beauty of car modding.....you can make it to your tastes....

Fly me out to Cali and I'll put the doors on for you...I will actually have my DIY written up and posted by SUNDAY

do the doors open wide as much as normal?

Seems like it'd be harder to get in and out of with them up

They open in 2 steps instead of 1 like real vertical doors would - not exactly elegant

I love how people try to make their car unique through tired, cliche'd mods that are being done by EVERYONE in the "tuning" scene. A 350Z with a body kit, huge wing, and lambo doors? Jesus, I've never seen that done before.

You can open the doors "normally" about 50 degrees or so then they can go up. I usually get in and out with the doors normally opened. I don't always lift them.

first off,

isn't this the vertex kit? cause that kit is sick and i think like 85% of the z community loves the kit as well, maybe on yellow it doesn't work well , but i've seen so much praise about this kit.

if i'm wrong, im sorry for the mis confusion.

also, the wheels aren't bad, TSW thruxton look sweet on the car and i've seen great praise from fellow z owners.

the vertical door thing, i like them, their expensive and people know their an expensive mod, its is just show, but woopty doo da if you don't like it, deal with it.

as for the rest of the car, its not bad, when i first saw it, i didn't like it until i looked at it more carefully.

i think its the color, the yellow doesn't work well. if it were CS or SB it would be a lot better.
