![Question](https://my350z.com/forum/images/icons/icon5.gif)
After ordering a Base, I changed my mind and ordered an Enthusiast. I LOVE the Enthusiast, and am so happy I changed. I also considered the Performance, but now that I have the Enthusiast I am glad I got that instead. The reason why I'm glad I didn't get the Performance is because this is my daily driver, and while I love the way the car feels, for me I think the 17 inch wheels are good, 18 inch might be a bit rougher ride than I would like for my daily driver. Just curious whether anyone else changed their order, and/or is everyone happy with the model they got?

I personally have a performance, I dont think the ride quality was that bad. I do mostly cruising on the highway and some local NYC stop n' go, the 18" wheels are ok. I think the VDC was worth the extra 1200 dollar upgrade to performance personally. I only got the performance because i got the one on the showroom floor, but if i could do it all over again, I would get the track model.

'Love my touring - only thing Iwould have added was the Track brakes and wheels but 'couldn't and get leather from the factory.
I wasn't a fan of heated seats but they ARE nice on a cold day.

Extremely happy I got the Track. Big brakes are what it is about! Since I ordered on January 17, 2001, I had no idea what the spoilers or wheels looked like - just wanted brakes! Nissan delivered and now I consider the Track the most distinctive looking model 350 out there! Could not be happier!

Happy with Touring... If I had it to do over again I would get either the Touring or Performance model.
Reasons I would possibly get Performance instead: the Bose stereo system (without amp fix yet) does not sound that great, still not used to leather seating surfaces.

I originally ordered a Base and changed to the Enthusiast before the dealer placed the order. I am also extremely pleased I got the Enthusiast. I also changed the color to LeMans Sunset and I am just as pleased with the color change. (Originally ordered Chrome Silver). I decided that because it would be a daily driver and weekender that I would need the cruise control and my wife convinced me that I would regret it if I did not get the LeMans Sunset or the Brickyard. Went for the LS.
Recently, my wife has spent enough time looking at this site, that she has decided she might have liked to have a Track. Now she tells me! Anyway, we got her last Friday. She's a stunner!
350 miles into the breakin period and lovin' every mile.

I have a entusist ordered. If I was to switch, it would be to the track but I want to add my own wheels. I like the rays but want bigger tires and I might do better for what i like after market. I wonder if I will regret not having the brembo's?

I personally am only debating on what color I end up with. I am 100% sure I'll love my track model, but the more I hear about the orange peel and the paint mis-matching on the Daytona Blue, I wonder if the Brickyard would make me as happy?

350ZSpeedRacer...
it came down to Daytona Blue and Brickyard for me when I ordered and could not imagine even considering anything but the Brickyard now that I own it.
The Daytona Blue demo car I saw looked good, but have the impression that color is a bit played out... there are a lot of other cars that can be had in that color. The brickyard is awesome! Take a peek...

My Performance model is perfect for me. At first I wanted an Enthusiast as well. I am not interested in leather or the Bose and wanted HID, TCS and LSD. But later I decided I also wanted the factory 18s (I like the look and I'm not interested in aftermarket wheels believe it or not) and the VDC. This is my daily driver too, not as bouncy as I though. The handling is phenomenal.

I have a Brickyard Performance but want the Track brakes. I'll be heading to the aftermarket eventually, so, while I sometimes wish I got the track, I don't mind too much. I'll probably end up getting an extra set of wheels for racing and use the stock wheels for daily driving. So, I guess I'm actually pretty happy after all. How's that for rationalization!

I'm really enjoying my SS Touring. If I had to do it over again I'd get the Track model and after market leather. The main reason I got touring was for the upgraded Bose system. Knowing what I know now I'd have opted for the Track and kept everything else the same. Someday in the future I'll get the Rays and color myself happy.
