Great touch color matching the centercaps!

Since my GT4 edition only came in Yellow and Black, i decided for black, but i still think that if i had choice of another color it would be LSO if i was unable to select black...

by far Black is the most flattering color for the Z (hands down and everyone knows it), but a definitely labor of love to keep nice.
DB is awesome and shows the lines of the car almost as well as the Black.
White, it is just wrong, does nothing for the car.
Redline, looks nice and does an adequate job of showing off the car.
Silvers, both silvers are beautiful, but neither one can get the color right (slight shade difference) for the plastic parts of the car (bumpers). I have looked closely at both silvers and the paint simple doesn't match, not on one single silver car.
Orange (lava) is cool, actually my wife has the color on her car, it does look good on a Z.
Yellow is yellow, and I'll leave it at that.

I spent 8 months on failed orders, dealer trades, being ignored by dealers, and transportation to get my Dayton Blue Z. I would not have the car in any other color. They are all nice but this is the only one that keeps me staring.

One thing that is nice about red, and why I was considering it for a while, is that the taillights blend in nicely. They kind of stick out a bit much for my liking on every other color. Besides that, my only other complaints about the looks are the ugly stock wheels (the track models are OK), the amber side markers on the bumpers, and the amber pieces in the headlights.

My thoughts exactly...the color that is "da" best is the color you like "da" most.

Didn't read any of the posts, but to answer your question: SUPER BLACK is the best color. Also, it is a proven fact that black 350z's are the fastest too.

Actually, it is a well known scientific fact that the molecular structure of the substances used to create the Daytona Blue light reflection pattern constitute a more densely packed array of atomic particles. The resultant increase in uniformity of the paint application thus leads to less aerodynamic drag with Daytona Blue cars, making it, officially, the "fastest" color.

Actually the "more densely packet array of atomic particles" would lead to a substantially heavier car, all other things being equal. Therefore the DB would be slower than the other cars!

That being said. White is the absence of all color. Therefore it must be the lightest and fastest. I am not a fan of white BTW.

It takes all color pigments to make black, actually heavier paint. Slowest?

No Way does the blue look like a little boy's car.
I orignally wanted the Blue and I was kidding about "little boy's car". I just took offense to the "white looks like a chick's car".

I have never seen a Brickyard colored Z on the road. That color is awesome, but I probably wouldn't have gotten it because its too close to the color of my Tahoe.

Hands down, nothing looks as good as a black sports car, IMO, but I've been down that road so many times in the past few years, I really wanted a break and went with PPW. I drove an Alpine White 944 for 6 years and loved the fact that every blemish didn't show up unless you were 6 inches away.

Now if I can only find a good and reasonable ClearBra installer in Atlanta.

When I was looking at Tourings I had them trying to find me a Redline one. That was my first choice. 2nd was Orange but my girlfriend called it "hideous" so that was ruled out. I really liked the blue and had access to one, but I had an '03 World Rally Blue WRX that I sold for this car, so that was out of the question too. Black was also a top choice, and when I found the 35th sitting on the showroom floor and discovered it was the only one in the state, I snagged it. The black looks awesome, but does get dusty pretty quick. I've had black cars before, the secret is just to keep it waxed and rinse it off. Not as big of a deal as people make it out to be IMHO. White was out of the question because I just don't care for it, and the silvers are nice but understated. This is my weekend toy, so understated was not required. If it was a daily driver, I'd have dont a silver touring to "blend in" a bit more.
