Rear Hatch Access

Anyone else concerned about the security of the 350Z when anyone can gain access to the inside by just pushing the rear access button near the license plate lamp and just crawl inside, or steal whatever property you have lying in the rear area?
Seems to me that the rear hatch should be key locked.
Am I wrong about this rear hatch access security problem??

Nissan is too smart not to allow you to lock the rear hatch. That just has to be the case.

Uh, I'm 100% sure the rear hatch has a lock on it! Geez.....

What's worse is that someone could get under your hood, and replace all the blinker fluid with windshield washer fluid...

Presumably, the trunk will lock/unlock with the doors. If the doors are unlocked, the pushbutton will open it. If the doors are locked, it will not.
