Default Window fix

Recently I had the drivers side window reset fix. I went to the dealer where I go for maintance. I know the service advisor. At first he wanted to charge me for labor when I'm still in warranty. He says adjustments are good up to 12k miles. But told him its not right. He said I will see what I could do. In the end I didnt pay for anything. Is it right what he said?

Warranty covers labor also. Meaning, you don't have to pay a dime to get warranty work done.
