Default how do I know if my tire have feather issue?

my car is at 20000km now, whenever i slow down from 50 to 0km. I have a loud humming road noise. It had gotten worse recently? is this tire feathering? what exxactly does tire feathering means? i just recently lower my car about a week ago? if i take it to nissan to replace tires, will they blame on my lowering springs? need some inputs thx

Funny I took these pics today to send to Nissan along with their "Nissan Customer Survey". Feel the inside of your tires for some abnormal wear. More than likely you will find the same thing I have and yes you can join the feathering club!!!

This happened in 2004 = Nissan replaced the tires...now in 2005 = they recommend that I buy new tires. Keep in mind that they are not offering to split the bill, simply recommending to buy new tires to resolve the issue.

Oh and they tried to charge me with aligning my my car & swore up and down that the bowed in tires did not affect the alignment.

I also forgot to mention that your Z will probably start pulling to the right after 3-5 seconds from letting the steering wheel go.
