Default Leasetrader.com - Anyone used this?

I'm thinking about trying to get out of the lease on my Enthusiast Z after a year. It's not that I don't love the car, it's the idea that after the fact, I won't own it

Has anyone used Leasetrader.com? Looks like it would be a pretty good place to start. Any success stories?

I've tried it with no luck. What is your payoff? Why don't you just try and sell it?

Leasing is a cycle of death because u're practically renting a car long term and get back no money at all when u return the car. Once a least starts, ppl usually stick w/ it for yrs. Sry to hear about ur situation.

thanks for the useful post...

what are the penalties for turning your lease in early?
What was the residual value you nego'ed on the car?
how many months have you paid?
how many months do you have left?

Do you know you can buy the car for the residual value once your lease is over?

Very informative opinion here
Although lots of people think leasing a car is not a wise idea, however, if you could get 0 down for it and negotiate a decent residual value, so why not.

To stick with the topic, I checked out leasetrader.com and what I have to say is those car which looking someone to take over lease usually don't have too much mileage allowance per month because the original leasee put too much miles on it (some cars only have like 800 miles you can drive per month)
If you Z has relatively low miles, you might wanna give it a shot.
