Picked up my Z last Wednesday night after a (short compared to others) two and a half month wait.

I'm happy to report that this car dos'nt seem to exhibit the same sort of problems some of the early VIN's seemed to have (mine is 5143)

No rattles, no grinds, no orange peel.

The dealer did NOT instal the front plate bracket as asked, nor did they wax it (so he says, water beeds up). However I do have some very fine scratches (some rather deep) on the hood and rear deck area, and on the headlight lenses. which leads me to believe that PDI must of gotton a little zealous in there washing.

I will post that problem in the apropriate area, but in the meantime, does any one have any advice concerning these scratches?

On a final note............Love this car.

 

Thats awesome, congratulations on your new ride. I was wondering if the 350Z's built later on in the model year would be just a little improved. Hopefully they are, since im thinking of getting one in a month or two. Sucks about the scratches I dont know what to tell you about those scratches no experience with fixing them.
