How to remove glue from window?
I stuck an EZ-Pass on my front windshied with inferior [didn't know] velcro tape, it melted off in the FL sunshine and left a glob of glue on the window. Anybody know the best way to get this off?

I don't have a hair dryer or fingernail polish remover, I'll guess I'll go with punching it.
Seriously: Thanks for the tips, I'll let you know what seems to work best.
Edit:
1) White vinegar only thing I have at the moment, it works but is very slow for the amount of glue I have on the window.
Buy/Try something else tomorrow.

If none of the above have worked, you can use a 3M product, called Adhesive Remover. It's a good idea to cover the dash below to keep anything from getting on it. Just put a little of the 3M Adhesive Remover on a rag. if you happen to get any on the dash it should not cause a problem. Another product that should work is Goof Off and it also should not harm the dash. Last method is to use a single edge razor. You can scrape it off keeping the blade at a very sharp angle to the glass. Or you can buy a scraper that uses a blade and this will lessen the chance that you may scratch the glass. I own an automotive interior repair company and we use the above methods every day to remove all sorts of stuff from the glass, seats and trim panels.

when I had to remove lots of window tint residue from my old car I just used that Windex that has vinegar in it and it took it all of pretty easy and best of all didn't smell up the car. Probably the cheapest option too.

Goo Gone was by far the fastest and didn't stink too bad [lemon scent].
There was one particular stuborn spot that would not come out. After ten minutes of working on it I finally determined it was little bit of bug-gut on the exterior that wiped off easily with a little water and a paper towel.

I attempted the razor trick and it just smeared it over a larger area.
I can easily remove a simple sticker from my window without any problems. It wasn't the tape I was trying to remove, it was the glue residue left behind. I'm talking about a thick and very sticky glue, intended to last many years. Trust me you would have to etched the glass to try and get it of with a razor and you would not have had success.

If you are using a new blade and still having problems, you might want to try cooling it with an ice cube first.
