Just back from an enjoyable afternoon meeting many of the "Z" owners on this forum.. It was a sunny but windy day in Nassau County, NY.. Temp hit about 55 degrees but the wind made it feel a bit cooler.. I got there at 11:30 to find an event going on at the Nassau Coloseum.. Disney on Ice.. Not for me.. I met up with one other owner and we parked near Hempsted Tpk waiting for others to arrive. A total of 9 cars showed up.. 4 Chrome Silver, 1 Silverstone, 1 Black, 1 Lemans sunset. 1 daytona Blue and 1 Redline.. All we needed was a brickyard and a Pikes Peak white for a clean sweep.. It sure was great meeting all who attended.. It really was nice to see some of the other colors in person.. My friend Art showed up with his 3 day old Redline Touring.. It stole the show.. I'll enclose some of the photo's taken.. I'm sorry I don't remember the names of everyone who attended.. Hope you enjoy the pics..

Although it was a bit on the cool side, the meet was a great turnout. Nice to meet the boys... and girl. Thanks for the stories Mendy. Next meet I want to hear more. btw, did you lose to that Civic leaving Hooters? I'm not good with names either, but it was really nice meeting up with everyone. Hooters was good too.

Ok...first of all, husband was driving....Ok next...the honda made the turn in front of us and punched it...It was very obvious that he had more than stock..ie...supercharger plus other happy toys....like a bit of nos, with all that smoke he was blowing as he shifted each gear...Also he stayed in front of us but we took him on the Meadowbrook going south...103mph...left him in the dust... He had an awfull lot of little ponies under that little hood not to mention the 500lbs. lighter. Besides these guys think that jumping in and out of lanes is a great way to drive...dangerous and stupid are our feelings...not for us. Hey, but we had a whole lot of fun anyway, and were laughing with them as we finally pulled next to them on hempstead turnpike. We got the last laugh on the parkway!
Had a great time meeting everyone and hope to get together again soon before the weather changes for the worse. Maybe go down to the beach and take more pixs along with a bit of a fun drive.

Turned out to be a great meet... wished I could be there, but because of work, I missed out. Hopefully there'll be another meet sometime in the future.
