Default How low is a stock 350Z?

Can someone go and measure for me exactly how low a 350z is at stock height? ...measuring from the front bumper or whatever the lowest point may be?

I've been thinking about getting a Z but unfortunately I live in San Francisco and have an extremely steep driveway. The worst thing would be for me to get the car and not even be able to park it in my garage without scraping the front bumper each time.

My friend has a S2000 and although his front bumper can clear everything, there's a small plastic mud guard in front of the front tire which does scrape slightly.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

If you are at all familiar with off road vehicles, then you will realize that the max angle of entry or exit is the determining factor, not just the clearance. That said, the stock Z is very low. I scraped the front of the bumper exiting a local diner and the _bottom_ of the car traversing a crest in a badly designed lot. So this pretty rules out the full S tune suspension for me.

There's no easy way to check what you want to. Just because you know the minimum clearance doesn't mean you'll be able to figure out if you'll scrape. Think about it, a short vehicle with the same clearance as a long vehicle will clear differently. For example, a limo will have a much harder time clearing things a car with the came clearance would. Just test drive one and tell the dealer you have to make sure it'll go up your driveway. It sounds crazy but if you're just a few (less than 10) miles from the dealer they'll probably let you.

I don't know if this helps but I had an s2000 and it scraped going up my driveway. I have a 350z now and it does no even come close to scraping.

I don't have a 350z so I can't measure it how low it is. I guess I could go find one and use a tap ruler but the last thing I want is to get jumped by some guy that thinks I'm trying to steal his car.

I understand what everyone is saying as far as other factors besides the height but for now I just need a rough approximation. From my measurements, I'll need at least 4 inches of clearance. Does that sound possible?

WOW...that's convenient. I still suggest trying it so if you don't clear you can get your driveway ready for the car. LOL

Make sure to measure a car that has some miles on it. Mine's sagged about .75" since new.

Tire wear, improper inflation, suspension...anything else that could cause it?
