Default "Slip"

Can someone explain to me why "slip" comes up on my dash when I drive? Anything to do with traction control?

Nope, nothing to do with traction control. Ive had my Z for almost a year now and cant figure it out though. It tends to come on when I accidently use a profanity at another driver. Maybe thats it? BEN

just messing with you. Yes, slip comes on your dash when the computer thinks your rear tires are slipping. Just turn of the button by your left knee and you dont have to see the slip againm be careful in the rain though. BEN

I think its more of a comfort level, if you hit it at 300 you were screwing around and dont know your car, if you hit it at 3000 miles, then you can know your car and you ****up.

who wants to wreck their car the first month they have it ? i mean if it happens few years down the line, its not as big of a deal...by that time you might wanna get a diff car anyway plus totalling your car by attempting something you prob shouldnt be doing in the first place is just plain stupid.

I have funny story about traction control, not about my 350 though but my dad 05 Mustang. We went to the track yesturday to see what time he could get and to see what my car would do against him and he forgot to turn the traction control off and still ran a 14.5. he looked like an idiot but still not a bad time for an old mans first time at the race track

Having actually hit a pole...i kinda resent the negatives towards the benefits of hitting poles
