I own a Nissan pick-up which has been great during all of its 135,000 miles. Now we have a 2004 350 Z, and we were planning on also purchasing a new Murano or Altima. I hope Nissan hears this issue loud and clear. If this turns out to be an issue and they do not address it, I'll never buy another Nissan. I learned that lessan after buying a Ford Mustang in college - the amount of trouble that piece of junk cost me has ensured that I'll never again buy a Ford !

I'll be quite honest...I've had my Z for two years (17,900 miles) and I have had several problems, so be it most are small with the exception of feathering. I just never expected to get his from a $33K plus car. My interior rattles from driving on smooth highways....and I get that "bounce". My leather is wearing prematurely b/c I get in and of my car daily ( I leather zaino it as needed, but it can only help to a degree). The floormat (driver) needed to be replaced at 15k because of how I rest my heal near the clutch. The Bose system was horrible compared to other Bose systems on a variety of vehicles. I changed it. A few other small things not worth mentioning. The bottom line is I love my Z. I really do. I just expected a little more. I plan on keeping this car for quite some time. I just don't want to have to put new shoes on her every 5-7.5K....at my expense.

JD Power ranks 350Z on top for 05 but does JD Powers check back after 10,000 miles. I don't think they'll see tire feathering on a Z with 1,000 miles. They need to do a long term test and get Nissan to fix the problem. I hope this lawsuit helps.

It's funny I just had my drivers window fixed and now I notice my passenger window is taking longer to roll up than my driver's....and it's starting to moan.
My car is still under warranty but I forsee a future of window motors in my life.
I am thinking I should stock up now on the motors and learn to do the repairs myself so in the future I am not paying up the **** for the fixes.
As for tire growl. Performance Nissan did a 4 wheel alignment and I have not had any issues since.

Well, I just could not pass up the bang for the buck on the 400hp C6. Got mine TWO WEEKS ago. Already, they have to replace the primary belt. It squeaks so loud that I'm too embarrassed to drive it. Also, the brakes are noisy as hell and the outside temperature indicator only works when it wants to. Give me a break! This car is 14 days old. Is this what I'm to expect again??? For crying out loud, it was $55K. For that kind of cash, it should be bullet proof.
Is anyone else experiencing problems with their C6's??? Do I have a lemon, or can Chevy simply not build cars?? Please help!"

My brother's 05 Touring AT is pushing 8,000 miles with factory 17" wheels and tires. ALL good so far.
My 05 Touring 6sp has 18" Nismos and Bridgestone G3s, but I only have 2,200 on the OD and all is good here as well

I have a 2004 roadster and i have just discovered inside tire wear. Went to the dealer and they tell me only the 2003's have the problem. I only have 13,000 km on it. Otherwise I loooove it. How do I get them to at least do an alignment????

"Wear" isn't covered for any year, the feathering is (which isn't the same thing as "wear" -though maybe you have feathering and maybe you don't). If not, you're on your own with "wear."
