I agree, the rear visiblity is bad, a factor that contributes to this is the strut bar. The aluminum cover gives a nasty reflection in the inside of glass adding to an already poor situation.

My 3rd Z and they've all have visability issues. All cars have blind spots though.Once you're familiar with them it's really not an issue.

Not a problem for me. When moving to the right on the feeway I do take an extra look over my shoulder but big whoop.

The mirrors do just fine.

I felt cramped at first but you do get used to it. Here's a tip: MOVE YOUR FRICKIN BODY AND TURN YOUR HEAD to see if there is anything around the car. You should be doing that in any car, blindspot or not.

ok ok heres a perfect solution... if you wanna switch into a lane, simply give the z a little gas and pass the dude leading in that lane. then you kno for sure that you free to enter. but for backing up... your on your own... oh u can always put some cash into a rearview camera for the dvd spot... waste of money IMO.

Get the Roadster, your in So Cal. Top down and no visibility issues. You get used to using your mirrors with top up, and double checking via the head turn.

I wish I could get a roadster, IMO rather ugly top up, but top down=kick ***. However quite a bit out of my price range which is somewhere between 22k-26k. But I don't plan on getting one until next year, so by then the prices might be a little lower for the roadsters.

use your eyes instead of mirrors to see side blind spots, don't tint rear side mirrors, and you'll be fine.
