You can not get leather in the base model. If you want leather you can get your seats reapolstered with leather later. I heard it cost any where from 500-1000$ for a decent leather job. Someone could prob give you better details. You can not get the track rays on the base either. You will get ripped off if you find a dealer who will do this for you. I have seen that nissan charges like 600$+ a rim for the Rays if you order from their parts department. you would do better just getting some badd azz 19" rims for about the same price. If your dead set on 6the stock Rays, people are selling them on here all the time for pretty cheap with tires and TPS. Ive seen them go for as little as 900$ for all 4 with TPS to 1700$ for a mint condition 30 miles on the rims and tires set. BEN

The dealer will do it, but they won't be power, and it's like $1400 extra.

Go with the Katzkinz afterwards, if you want leather, way better deal!

+1 on the Katzkins. You can get this done with two tone leather for under 1K.

if ur gonna get base, just keep the cloth, it's great. Better then leather IMO. OR, get some aftermarket recaro, sparco, etc. seats.

The dealer is an idiot. Any dealer can offer leather for any car. Nissan has an official aftermarket provider in Classic Soft Trim. You can go to a CST installer and get the same seats for less than the dealer will charge you. For the Z they start about $600. You can find the nearest installer on their website http://www.classicsofttrim.com

I called the Nissan dealership here in Boise one day to find out how much the track rims cost in case I wanted to replace one that I'd curbed. They told me $1430 each! I about crapped my pants.

If you look in the Classified Forum, you'll probably find a set of 4 for the same price that the dealer wants for one wheel.

I have a base and had the cloth but had a local shop (Apache) change to two-tone leather and it is one of the best things I've done to the car. Looks great, feels great, is a 1000% improvement. Highly recommended, and to be honest, leather seats isn't something I really cared about one way or another in cars. Maybe it is now.

If youre gonna get aftermarket leather make sure you dont have the side airbags, I heard it cant be done [or at least the doors cant] be wrapped in leather. Dont even bother with the dealer for parts, accessories, try ebay or the forum.
