Default Continental Sport Contact Tires (advice)

My friend wants to sell me his Continental Sport Contact tires for 1/2 price off his M3...........18" 225\45\18 front, 255\40\18 rear.
Will these fit on my car and is it a good deal?....he has 3k miles on them...........I am not too happy with the stock tires on my touring.
Thanx,
Grogs

I say wait till you get to 10,000 miles and get some really good Toyos or Potenzas.

I believe that the Continental's are notorious for road noise. Go to tire.com and do a owner survey to see. Good luck.

The Z is already said to have pronounced understeer, the greater disparty between Continental's 225 - front & 255 - rear will make it worse. And if anyone is looking to reduce understeer is this car, one way of doing it is going wider on the front tires.

I had those tires on my Porsche 968. They are an alright OEM tire, but I would not change my tires to them. Much rather have the SO3's
