Default do i need to negotiate any more?

ok, go i'm getting a new 05 enthusiast AT. i got the dealer down to $27,500 (includes dest fee + $500 college grad discount). i was checking out www.carbuyingtips.com, but this is a pretty good price, about half way between invoice and MSRP. do u guys think i should try to get it lower, or can i even get it lower, or should i just take that price? OTD will be about $29,500-30,000. thanks.

thats not too bad. i got mine for $28.5k OTD...so your paying 1000 more for the auto. you might get him down another 100-200.....

Its a decent deal. Gooooooooooo for it.

Can you do better? Maybe, but as you indicated I'm not sure its worth the effort.

I was at a dealership last weekend and they told me I could get the 05 Enthusiast 6speed I test drove for $26,900. The invoice on a manual is like 26,311 or something close to that. I know Nissan is offering 2000 cash back until the end of the month so maybe that’s factored in. Anyway, I wouldn’t pay anything more then 300 over invoice on a new car

So invoice on an AT Enthusiast is $37,311. So I would give them 37,611 for the car minus your 500 college grad discount puts it at 37,111. That’s what I would make them hit.....But that’s just me. It can’t hurt to try.

Work for an otd only. If you take a closer look at Nissan's site, the $500 college grad discount does NOT apply to the Z, thus the dealer is lying to you. If it's automatic, I'd pay nothing more than 30,500 otd. I'm from SF.

Opps I meant 27,311, and a final price of 27,111
