Cause this is what it looks like outside!

That's my wife's 98 Avalon shivering outside. It's what I'm driving until the weather clears up!

I've heard it called Metallic Plum, Metallic Wine, Metallic Burgundy, etc. I always tell people it looks like the color of those cherries you buy in the grocery store that have the stem attached and the pit inside that you always have to spit out (Bing cherries?).

It is a very dynamic color that seems to change depending on the lighting situation.

In fact, ALL 4 dings on my 280z are a result of bad garage management. You know like trying really hard to get a tool from the back to outside and tripping on a bike and *DING*...
Hehehe... lesser of evils.. if I put the Z on the other side of the garage.. the wife and kids must walk by it EVERY time to get to their car... bookbags.. groceries.. etc.. no way man!

There is a no-mans zone around the Z and the kids know it

All the stuff on the hooks requires to be pulled UP and off to get off the hooks.. so hopefully no falling stuff. I had to move some stuff which was sitting on the floor prior to the Z moving in.. cuz that would have tipped over and ruined my month.

The only thing I wish was different was I wish there was enough room on the far side of the car for me to dry/wax it in the garage. Right now I can only get 3 sides of the car while in the garage. Its f0kin cold here !! and the Z needs a bath.

roberto350z, that is the type of taunting that brings us earthquakes, mudslides, drought (oh yeah, already here), and whatever the malady of the week might be. We got a few drops of water falling from the sky today. See what you have already done? The doc and his car are cool.

With the weather that we get here, you have to be able to wash it inside. If you tried to take to a car wash on a good day it would be one big ice cube by the time you were done. This way when it's below 0 outside I can still keep it at 65 inside. The wife bought the house I bought the garage.

Thankfully, my Z spends it's time all alone in my 2 car garage.

Right now my Z sits out side under a Nissan Z car cover. I am in the process of building a 32' x 32' 3 car garage. Once built there will be one bay only for the Z. Inside walls will keep the Z separate from the rest of the building. To access the Z from inside there will be a door. All of my yard tool, garden tools ECT are stored in a 14' by 24? building elsewhere. And the neat thing is the total cost of the Z and the garage is less than the cost of a Boxster, Corvette, or BMW Z3.

She's gonna have the garage all to herself! My fiance is using his side of the garage to store all the yard stuff b/c his Camaro is a tight fit with the shelves that are built in. I have the spot all cleaned up, ready and waiting to take care of her!

Default Z's live in the garage.

I keep the siblings in their own garage & the big brother (QX4) watches out for them & stands guard outside by the pool.
