Default For 2003 Z owners to improve some stuff to 2005.

Now I have 2 Z's sitting in my garage. Mine is 2003 SB 6MT Track, and another one is 2005 PPW Touring 5AT. 2005 PPW Touring belongs to my friend. (She went back to Korea for internship for the summer so I'm storing her car for the summer.)

I noticied number of differences from 2003 to 2005 models, and some improvements are the seatbelt layouts, (For 2003, you have to slide the seatbelt into the clip on the wall to hang it up. Otherwise it's gonna rattle like crazy! It really pisses me off. 2005, you don't have to worry about it.)
Sidemirrors with bigger coverage (less blind spot)

These two features are the ones I want to have on my 2003 Z.

Has anyone try to replace these parts on their 2003 Z?

Sidemirrors won't be a big deal, (just purchase parts at the dealer and install them.) but I don't know what is involved in replacing the seatbelt assembly and what parts I would need.

Pic below: Left is the 2003 Z's seatbelt, and Right is the 2005 Z's seatbelt.

You can swap them. But you have to get the whole seatbelt assembly.

I think the new seatbelt design came out in 2004 because I have a 04.5 and I have the new design.

Once my Audio/Video system goes in... The Seatbelt Modification is tops on my list. Whoever in the fock designed the 03' seatbelts needs to be stoned and then lashed! What an absolute pain in my azz to have to reach over EVERY time someone rides with me.
I believe my Nissan parts guy said that the whole assembly has to be purchased as stated above. But then you have the install to contend with...

LOL I agree. I just don't clean the my Z's interior. (Maybe once in 3 months?)

Then I wash my Z twice a week. (Just exterior)

Hmm... if whole seatbelt assembly has to be purchased.. it sounds like quite a bit of $$.. ($200-$300?)
Install doesn't look too complicated but I have no idea what is involved, so I'm only speculating here...
