finally have the car dropped...tinted. It was a nice day, so went out to take some pics with a buddy of mine (groovy4). Here are some pics for you guys...any compliments/criticisms will be appreciated.

Thanks man. His wheels...I think he forgot. You can try PMing him. I just know they are 19x9 in the front and 19x10 in the back.

 

How many minutes until the "twins" show up sitting on these 2 cars?

 

Your car is very clean. Great job! What % tint do you have and how much was the install?

 

looks pretty good except for that ugly front mounted plate!

 

tint was 20%...I wanted to go 5% but the rear view in the Z is lacking already...

how much was the install of what? The tint ran me $100 Canadian dollars cuz I knew the owner. All the mods I installed myself in my garage.

haha yea...its mandatory here in BC to have a front mount licence plate. My car attracts cops' attention enough as it is...don't want more trouble than necessary.

Nice looking Z man. What size wheels do you have on? They look like 18's. If so, can I ask why you stuck with that size instead of getting 19's? I'm thinking of getting wheels soon. Congrats again.

 

great job alex. seeing your car makes me miss my old setup. so jealous. i think my wing will look sick on the car. even the cwest will be fine on the car bro. another thing you can do is have new stands machined so it can be lower then have it powder coated black. if you need measureent of my wing or a template fax to you of my stands let me know. you still have my cell #.

Very nice! Heavily modded yet still clean - the way I like it. If I remember correctly you were the guy who posted something like "2 weeks until i get my Z" and had a TON of mods just waiting for it. I replied briefly saying I'll be gettin mine soon as well.

Man, you work fast if you're that same guy! I just got mine last weekend but still need to give her the first coat of Zaino and snap some snazzy pics..then I'll post. But it's no comp for your ride. Good job.

 

They are 19s...19x8.5f and 19x9.5r.......they just get eaten up in the huge wheelwell tho. And having a lip makes them look a bit smaller. But trust me, they are HUGE.

 

oops sorry I missed your post. Yea I'm the same guy. Been ordering parts for 9 months before I got my Z...haha.

Thanks for the compliments! I'm sure your Z will turn out to be a sexy ride as well! IMO, with the Z, no matter what you do to it, as long as you keep a theme or stay with simplicity, it will always look good, so you have nothing to worry about! Good luck with your Z bro!

Wow ordering parts for 9 mths, that must have been hard to have those parts lieing around but no car. It was worth it in the end thou, car looks good.
