Default Finally figured out my rattle!!

I've had this rattle that i thought was coming from the center panel when im above 3500rpm....... its actually the damn shifter.

ok so basically... i got the B&M short shifter installed at Performance Nissan... i've had the rattle ever since... recently, i bought a new shift **** (kinda too skinny for my taste... nismo CF one) and the rattle went down a bit, but is still there.

I want to put my stock shifter back on, but uhhhh....

=/ i hate the rattle...

there is also another rattle when the car is shut down.... it sounds like it could possibly be the shifter as well... possibly the Nismo exhaust i have on now? --- I had the GReddy evo2 and there was no rattle... but ever since i got the short shifter and nismo exhaust put on..... theres been a rattle at 3500rpm from the [shifter] and a rattle when the car is turned off.

Please help! im goin insane!!!!!

When I installed the Mossy adj. short shifter, I had a bad rattle with the stock shift **** at 3500-4500rpms. Here's the steps I did to solve the rattle: Take off the stock **** and drive around w/o a shifter **** for a little bit. If no rattles, the short shifter is good and the **** is the cause of the rattle. Get a different shift **** (FYI, I went w/ the Voodoo shift ****...no rattles). If you still have rattles w/ no **** on then the shifter is the cause. Sorry, I don't have a good solution for this one other than getting a different short shifter (FYI, the Mossy adj short shifter doesn't rattle).
