Default Is this true?

I received the call last Monday Nov 26th that my car would be in on Saturday Nov. 30th. As I'm driving to Tome Peacock NIssan of Houston from Dallas to pick it up, I get a call at 7:30 Friday night saying the car is stuck at the railyard outside of Houston and since the workers are unionized, they aren't working this week and won't unload my car until monday Dec. 2nd. So this morning I get a call saying they are awaiting Nissan California's go ahead to confirm the delivery, then they can unload it, then tonight they call me back saying the car wan't even mine, and that mine will be delivered Dec. 6th. Has anyone experienced this, and are all the tales of confirmations and such true or pure ********.

That sounds like somebody's educated guess as to where the car might be. It doesn't seem like anyone knows for sure though.

Well, I've had a somewhat similar experience, but at Mossy Nissan in Houston. They told me that my car was to be delivered on 11/30, and I even confirmed this date with NNA. It didn't arrive, and now the dealership is telling me that Nissan messed up, and that 11/30 was actually the ship date. Now they are saying it will arrive sometime around the end of December! I'm getting really tired of this ****...I'm still waiting to hear back from Nissan to confirm the dealership's story.

I hear you buddy...i've been hearing something similar from the same Mossy Nissan in Houston...i put my grand down there in mid-April and at that time they told me it was probably going to be here Oct-ish...then i called in July and it became Nov-ish...then i called in Oct and it became Dec/Jan-ish...and as of right now they gave me a VIN number and the approx. date of "Jan. 14". I'm used to hearing about the delays by now, but hope you get yours soon cuz i'm probably the guy right after you so good luck...i'm not sure who is at blame for the inconsistency or lack of information, but it sure does suck.
